This course provides an overview of public health informatics, including an introduction of public health informatics, public health surveillance, national standards, interoperability, and emerging trends in informatics. Participants will gain a better understanding of using information to improve public health practice. Participants do not need to have specific skills in informatics, but a desire to develop knowledge in this area.
