Group Payments for Medic Renewals

• Each medic at your agency will need to complete the steps on this page to add their email to their profile.

• The Authorized Agent or EMS Agency Admin for an EMS agency will need to login to the Georgia EMS License Management System (LMS) at www.mygemsis.org/lms 
• Click on Agencies on the left, then on the name of the agency
• Under the Agencies link on the left, click on Personnel
• Check the roster to make sure all of your employees are listed on there...if they are, proceed to Step 3
• If all of your employees are not listed on the roster, you will need to do the following:
  • Click on Applications, then on the applications for the EMS agency
  • Find the application entitled "Add Personnel to Agency Roster" and click Apply Now, and complete the application - the application can take some time to process, so you will need to wait until all of your personnel on your roster before proceeding to Step 3.

• The Authorized Agent will need to login to LMS, and then click on Agencies, then click on the specific agency, and then click ​on Personnel on the left.
• You will then look at the expiration date column - if you click on the column, you will be able to sort the column by the expiration date (click a 2nd time to sort the opposite direction). Make a list of all of your personnel that will expire in the following year.

• The Authorized Agent will need to login to LMS, click on Applications and then the agency applications, and find the application entitled "Agency - Indicate Medics for Renewal Payments"
• Complete the application and Submit the application.

NOTE: If you indicate medics that are not set to expire the following year or who have already expired, you will not be refunded any fee you have already paid.

• After we receive your application, we will send you an invoice for your agency to pay $75/medic. Payments are not refundable and are not transferrable.
• Mail your invoice and payment (money order, business check or cashier's check only) to the following address:

• Renewals for medics are NOT complete until the medic submits a full application for Medic Renewal and it is processed by our office
• Medics will need to login to the LMS (www.mygemsis.org/lms), and they will click on Applications. They will see TWO applications for license renewal - the one that they need to select is called "Georgia Medic Renewal - Agency Paid". This application will allow them to complete the renewal process that is detailed here (with the exception of the payment).

NOTE: If the medics complete the regular renewal application, they will be charged the renewal fee. We are unable to issue refunds to agencies if a medic does not use the correct renewal application. Also, please note that if the medic does not renew their license prior to the expiration deadline, they will need to complete a late renewal application and will be charged the full amount. We are unable to apply a group payment for the renewal to a medic's late renewal application, and we are unable to refund fees paid by an agency if a medic fails to renew prior to the deadline.

• The Authorized Agent will need to login to LMS, and then click on Agencies, then click on the specific agency, and then click ​on Personnel on the left.
• You will then look at the expiration date column - if you click on the column, you will be able to sort the column by the expiration date (click a 2nd time to sort the opposite direction). See which of your medics have not renewed their license yet.
