FilmArray NGDS Warrior Panel

Brief Description

The FilmArray NGDS Warrior Panel is a qualitative, multiplexed, nucleic acid-based in vitro diagnostic test intended for use with the FilmArray 2.0 system.  The FilmAarry NGDS Warrior Panel detects and identifies Ebola virus and Marburg virus nucleic acids directly from human whole blood (EDTA).  The FilmArray NGDS Warrior Panel is intended to test individuals with signs and symptoms of infection from biothreat agents and individuals who are at risk for exposure or may have been exposed to these agents.

Specimen Collection

Whole blood:

Collect a minimum of 200uL in a sterile EDTA tube.

Storage/Transport

Consultation with district epidemiologist required prior to submission.

Whole blood can be maintained at refrigerated temperature (2-8°C) during transit.
