Mr. Lang has more than forty years of healthcare experience in multiple sectors, including inpatient care, managed care, practice management, and EMR technology. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Mercer University and his doctorate from the University of Georgia. In addition to serving on the board of the Department of Public Health, he serves as Chair, Board of Visitors, School of Health Sciences, Georgia Gwinnett College; board member of the Hospital Authority of Gwinnett County; and on the Advisory Committee of Georgia Charitable Care Network. He and his wife, Jill, have two adult daughters and reside in Peachtree Corners.
