How to RENEW Installer/Pumper Certifications

  • 1. Get continuing education

    See the drop-down list under these steps for the current CEU providers and links to their class information.

  • 2. ​​​Pay the State COMPANY Certification Renewal Fee

    The 2026 Renewal Fees are due Feb 28, 2026. Invoices/CEU updates were mailed the first week of January.

    All payments received after Feb 28, 2026 will incur a $100 late fee. 

    * Pumper Companies: Your local county pumper permit must be renewed annually; contact your county to complete the process. 

    * This fee is NOT a fee per individual

    Installer Company Fee: $400
    Pumper Company Fee: $400 
    Installing AND Pumping Company Fee: $800

    Portable Sanitation Pumping Only Company Fee: $300

  • 3. If pumping, renew your County pumper permit.

    Contact your Download this pdf file. County EH Office  to schedule a truck inspection and manifest review. This must be done annually.

    By making a renewal payment and renewing your certification as a DPH Environmental Health Septic Tank Installing or Pumping Company, you agree to the following statements:

    • I nor my employees have violated any of the Department’s Rules and Regulations governing Onsite Sewage Management Systems, Chapter 511-3-1 during the last renewal period.
    • I nor my employees have  received a criminal conviction or have have any pending criminal charges related to on-site services.
    • I further understand that the company will be held accountable for all violations committed by its employees.
