Lucky Jain, MD, MBA, currently serves as Pediatrician in Chief at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. He also serves as George W. Brumley Jr. Professor, Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at the Emory School of Medicine, and Executive Director of the Emory + Children’s Pediatric Institute.

Dr. Jain received his medical degree and completed his residency at the University of Rajasthan in Jaipur, India. In 1985, he was awarded a Rotary International Award for advanced training in pediatrics and neonatology, which he credits as the beginning of his career in pediatrics.

Dr. Jain specializes in newborn respiratory disorders. He has served as President of the International Neonatology Association and currently leads the congressional task force on stillbirth prevention in the United States.

Dr. Jain is married to Shabnam Jain, who is an emergency physician at Children’s and Medical Director of Clinical Effectiveness for the System.
