Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children (MIS-C) is a rare but serious condition associated with COVID-19 where different body parts become inflamed.  MIS-C may begin weeks after a child is infected with the virus causing COVID-19. The best way to prevent MIS-C is by taking everyday actions to prevent infection by the virus causing COVID-19.
