  • Registration Application and Information

    After January 1, 2011, no person shall establish, maintain, or operate a tanning facility in the state without first having registered with the Department of Public Health.

  • Registration Fees

    Click here to pay the registration fee (use the last button on the list).

    Registration is required annually, starting Jan 1st of every year. 

    Fee: $25 for each facility + $15 for each tanning device. 

    Once an initial application and payment are received, annual renewals can be done making the registration payment online.

    Mission

    Inform users and operators of the health risks associated with exposure to ultraviolet radiation emitted from tanning devices.

    Program Goals:

    Register all tanning facilities mandated by the Georgia Code.
    Maintain database of registered tanning facilities.
    Provide information on the risks associated with indoor tanning devices.
