Quarterly Trauma Program and Registry Data Schedule
Fiscal Year 2024
(July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024)Trauma registry downloads are imported into the DPH OEMST ImageTrend Patient Registry at https://www.mygemsis.org/pr. Direct data entry users enter trauma data directly into the central site; therefore, no downloading is necessary. Download due dates are aligned with the GQIP, TQIP, and NTDB calls for data.

Trauma Program Reports (OTCPE / OBCPE) Dates

** All quarterly OTCPE and OBCPE reports are due on the 15th per the table below. The online form on the License Management System at https://www.mygemsis.org/lms will close at the end of the month allowing for a grace period of 10 business days past the due date.

- All trauma registry data must meet the Georgia Trauma Registry Criteria and be validated using the software validation rules and/or NTDB/TQIP tools prior to completing the records.
- All facilities use QA and IRR processes to verify the quality of their data before downloading data to the central site.
- ESO DI trauma registry users validated, close, and mark the field State box as Yes. Users import files ESO DI registry file into the DPH OEMST ImageTrend Patient Registry and verify the submission was successful.

The Georgia Trauma Data Dictionary serves a reference document containing the additional data fields and definition requirements for use by registry vendors to prepare the annual ITDX+GA Extension SDL file. These additional fields are referred to as the Georgia Extensions.The ITDX+GA Extensions include the fields required by National Trauma Data Standard (NTDS), Trauma Quality Improvement Program (TQIP), ESO International Trauma Data Exchange (ITDX), and the Georgia Extensions.
Trauma registry users are advised to use the NTDS, TQIP, and vendor specific data dictionaries in conjunction with this dictionary.
