Lupus Echo

The Lupus ECHO will focus primarily on systemic lupus erythematosus but also encompass cutaneous lupus. It is well established that lupus education is poor among non-rheumatology providers, with the average duration between symptom onset and diagnosis between 3-5 years. We are seeking earlier and more accurate diagnoses, improved evaluation and treatment of flares, reduction of comorbidities (such as cardiovascular disease, renal insufficiency/failure), and reduction of racial health disparities. The sessions will be targeted towards front-line providers who may see undiagnosed lupus or those not regularly managed by a rheumatologist, including emergency room, urgent care, primary care, OB/Gyn, and dermatology providers.

Schedule

Lupus ECHO sessions are held virtually on the first Wednesday of every quarter, from 8 am - 9 am (EST).
