The Office of EMS and Trauma is the state regulatory program for the designation of Georgia Trauma Centers and administration of the Georgia Trauma System. This page provides resources for current (and future) designated Trauma Centers.

    *Due dates are listed for ease of memory. If the due date falls on a weekend day or holiday, the actual due date is the first business day following the date listed.

    NOTES:

    • Only records meeting the Georgia Trauma Registry criteria must be marked State box= Y and the record status must be “Closed”. All records must be validated using the software validation rules, the facility QA process, and NTDB tools prior to closing the records. Closed records are downloaded to the Georgia Trauma Registry.
    • Users need to login to the central site to verify the download was successful. If the status is “Failed Submission”, please correct any errors and resubmit the download or contact the OEMST or software vendor for technical assistance with the download process. The ESO/DI V5 central site is accessible at https://ga.traumaregistry.com.

    • The 3rd quarter report is due on April 15, 2021 without a late grace period due to the GTC PBP scorecard review.
    • The 1st, 2nd, and 4th quarter reports will be considered past due if received more than 30 business days after the due date.
