Interaction with members of the news media is essential to improving the health of our communities, connecting Georgians with important information and services, and maintaining transparency. As a matter of policy, all media inquiries and interview requests are answered within the Division of Communications at the Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH).

The Division of Communications strives to provide accurate, timely information to prevent disease, injury, and disability; to promote health and well being; and to prepare for and respond to disasters.

DPH subject matter experts are available for interviews on various topics related to Public Health. We encourage members of the media to contact us with questions regarding programs or information contained in news releases. Please visit the links on this page.
