We prevent injuries by empowering state and local coalitions through the provision of data, training, and leadership, and the leveraging of resources for prevention programs.
The Georgia Injury Prevention Advisory Council provides guidance to the Georgia Department of Public Health’s Injury Prevention Program and partners on the implementation of policy and program across the state. The group meets on a quarterly basis and co-locates meetings with the Injury Prevention Research Center at Emory in an effort to combine research, policy, practice, and implementation for partners.
For information about joining the group or meeting notes (when available) and other meeting materials, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
