Georgia Project Catalyst III

About Project Catalyst III

Project Catalyst III: State-Wide Transformation on Health, IPV and Human Trafficking, focuses on improving the health and safety outcomes for survivors of intimate partner violence (IPV) and human trafficking by fostering state level leadership and collaboration. Project Catalyst III is ongoing in Georgia, Minnesota, and Ohio. In Georgia the Leadership Team consists of representatives from Georgia Department of Public Health, Georgia Coalition Against Domestic Violence, and Georgia Primary Care Association. The Georgia Leadership Team works with demonstration sites to implement the evidence-based intervention Confidentiality, Universal Education, Empowerment, and Support (CUES) and provide training and technical assistance. CUES relies on strong partnerships between community health centers and domestic violence programs to create warm referrals and support their communities.

Project Catalyst is supported through U.S Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) partners including the Administration for Children and Families’ (ACF), Family and Youth Services Bureau, the HRSA Bureau of Primary Health Care, and the HRSA Office of Women’s Health. Technical assistance and training is provided by Futures Without Violence and the University of Pittsburgh is conducting the project evaluation. More information on the project can be found on the Futures Without Violence website (LINK: https://www.futureswithoutviolence.org/health/project-catalyst/).
